WAM Metals, established in 1986, has progressed to a world-class copper, brass, aluminium, steel and plastic component manufacturer. WAM Metals supplies all sectors of the economy and prides itself in manufacturing high-quality components for their customers. This is ensured using their ISO 9001 Quality Management System and a dedicated and well trained team of staff to ensure that all customers’ requirements are achieved all of the time.

WAM Metals’ manufacturing facility includes a saw cutting area, forge plant, finishing and plating plant, CNC machine shop, design department, state of the art tool-room and a comprehensive plastic injection moulding facility. WAM Metals has the ability to provide their customers with full design and 3D printed models prior to manufacture of tooling and product, this ensures that customer requirements are met first time. WAM Metals has a full fleet of delivery vehicles and makes use of couriers for long distance deliveries, ensuring on time delivery.

All our customers’ tooling is maintained and stored by us and used exclusively for our customers – we guarantee the same for all our customers. OUR CAPABILITIES

WAM Metals is a specialised non-ferrous forging and machining company with plastic injection moulding capabilities. WAM Metals is housed in a 12500 m2 factory under roof which includes the following specialised processes:

• Forge Shop with 30 forging presses ranging from 60 ton to 600 ton capacity.
• Machine Shop consisting of the 20 CNC lathes and 9 CNC Machining Centers.
• Specialised Machine Shop state of the art 5 axis multitasking machines.
• Plastic Injection Moulding Shop specialising in engineering polymers with 6 injection moulding machine with capacities of 30 ton to 240 ton.
• Tool Room for the in-house manufacture  and repairs of all forging tooling.
• Design Department for the 3D printing of prototypes for customer approval.
• Maintenance Shop for all in-house repairs to plant and equipment.
• Sales Department having product specialists to ensure all customer needs and requirements are achieved.
• ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System a SABS Certified facility since 2006 ensuring that the facility manufactures goods to customer requirements and thus ensuring customer satisfaction.
• MASC Flameproof Facility approved to manufacture flame proof products for the mining industry
